Founders Yvonne and Adam have been working in the healthcare industry for
over a decade. The idea for BEETEEZ first formed when Yvonne met her
husband Francesco, a Type 1 diabetic, who struggled since childhood with his
diagnosis. Managing glucose levels as a diabetic is complicated for an adult, let
alone for a child. As a mom, it was important for her to design a snack for all
diabetics using a system that even a child can understand.

When Yvonne brought this idea to Adam, a former colleague, he was
immediately on board. With his intimate knowledge of industry shortcomings, he
immediately recognized a need for BEETEEZ. Their combined history in
healthcare leadership and a shared passion for helping diabetics gave them an
opportunity to collaborate and make this idea a reality.
